In this workshop students learn all about making a video clip. The main focus lies on esthetics. In the theory-part of the workshop the difference between commercial and artistic video’s is explained and questions are asked about the relation between image and sound. What kind of imaged are suitable to be used in a hip-hop video? And in what way would you shape a dance music video? In conclusion: in what way do you create an ambiance using image and sound?

In the practical part of the workshop the students make a video clip in groups. They choose one of the pre-selected songs and create a storyboard, distribute the roles and write the script. The clip is edited on the laptops DROPSTUFF.nl provides. The best video clips are programmed in the Open Podium program!
