With over 400 visitors, the Grijs en Wijs Mediafestival 2019 in the Dutch Institute of Sound and Vision past 9 November was a great success. Young and old were able to immerse themselves in the possibilities of digital media during this kick-off event of the Week of Media Literacy, de Week van de Mediawijsheid

Sound and Vision was transformed into a place where both young and old can enjoy themselves. A cozy brown café with fresh coffee and the opportunity to ask questions. A telephone booth in which visitors learn to Skype. And a colorful collection of “kiddy rides” on which visitors experience virtual reality for the first time. Soon the festival was full and young and old were inspired to do more with media!
