Correlation Diptych

Correlation Diptych is a modern diptych that continuously picks images from Google. Each visitor can add two words (by SMS) and the application will
select certain pictures from Leonard’s database and the database of the world’s biggest search engine. The two words also form the title of the newly created work. Leonard has created this work with inspiration by an earlier artwork in which he removed all the text from encyclopedias: he underlines the beauty of coincidence.

Leonard van Munster (NL, 1972), makes site-specific and subject-specific objects and installations with sound, video and electronics combined with more traditional media. He plays intelligent games with the public, using different physical and virtual realities.
