Any visitor can hop in and take the cars for a ride. Initially the bumper cars function as normal, but after a while \u2018<em>the system\u2019<\/em>\u00a0takes over and the steering wheel no longer works. Visitors become subject to the cars and experience first hand what it means to lose control when a computer takes over. From that point on, the cars perform a \u2018<em>dance\u2019:<\/em>\u00a0a bumper car ballet inspired by audiovisual archive materials, based on an artificial intelligence translation.<\/p>\n<p>The first input concerns a promotional video from 1974 with \u2018dancing DAF cars\u2019 by the famous Dutch car manufacturing company DAF.
