On a regular and occasional basis DROPSTUFF.nl gives assignments to artists, designers and game/interaction designers to produce a new interactive work of art or artistic game. These new artworks are often commissioned in close collaboration with or on behalf of one or more partners from a wide network of museums, cultural organizations, festivals and colleges/universities. In consultation with the partners several matters such as the choice for artists, content and thematic requirements, but also the desired range and the technical principles are agreed upon. They are always interactive and can be influenced by the audience by means of a smartphone or just by presence and movements alone. We present the results as ‘Artistic Games’.
In addition, DROPSTUFF.nl offers cultural institutions the oppurtunity to broadcast on our screen network. On a regular basis, content is delivered, often in the context of a festival, event or another occasion that deserves to be put in the limelight.
